IMPORTANT NOTICE - I am currently NOT accepting commissions for new builds. I am accepting a limited number of repair jobs, upgrades, and setups from Non-Students. If and when any of this changes, this page will get updated.
The luthiery side of LBS is a result of a lifelong passion for woodworking and my side career as a Mechanical and Electronics Engineer. I have always worked on my own instruments, and have been running my luthiery shop since 2007. I do repairs, setups, hardware and electronics upgrades, in addition to new builds from scratch. In most cases, I can provide a loaner instrument while completing the work.
Basic setups for electric bass or electric guitar - $120 for non-students, $100 for students.
Ask about any hardware upgrade, other repair, or setup need. There are discounts for students on all services.

Ukulele: Concert or Tenor size start at $600. Baritone size start at $700.
Electric Bass: Fender-style (bolt-on necks) from $1800. Gibson-style (set necks) from $2000. Neck-thru or carved top basses start at $2000. Ukulele basses from $1200.
Electric Guitar: Fender-style (bolt-on necks) from $1800. Gibson-style (set necks) from $2000.
Acoustic Guitar: Various sizes and styles, all start at $2000.
Final pricing depends on customer choices of woods, electronics, hardware, decorative elements, finish, etc. all instruments available as left-handed models as well.
